OldPaperShop.com is a home-based business located in the Sacramento Mountains of New Mexico, USA. We sell vintage book art, random ephemera, and old book pages with vintage typography for use in paper-craft projects such as junk journals, collage, and mixed media projects.
OldPaperShop.com came about as a companion to my ‘old books’ business which I have been fooling around with since 1998.
Occasionally, in the course of my book-scouting expeditions, I would come across interesting vintage art prints, photographs, paintings, postcards, and other artwork that did not fall into the books category but were intriguing all the same. Or, I would discover a poor broken book or antique periodical that was not in any condition to sell but would contain beautiful vintage art prints, bookplates, or historical images of days long gone.
I always found myself purchasing these little bits of history, knowing that if I did not rescue them, they would probably be destroyed, and the artwork lost forever.
I have been collecting these vintage art prints for years, not sure what I was ever going to do with them, I just knew I didn’t want them to end up in a landfill.
So now, I offer them to you – artists, historians, authors, researchers, explorers, collectors, and memory keepers.
My stock can be found on eBay or Etsy. I ship all items the next business day from my location and pack all orders carefully for safe transit. I attend to all customer questions and inquiries in a timely manner.
