These gorgeous and detailed steel engravings are the heraldic symbols, or coat-of-arms of the highland clans of old Scotland.  Each sheet has six different engravings, identified in script below the illustration.  The engravers were either W. Macgregor, or R. Scott.  The artists were either M. MacCoinish or U. MacCoinish.

The condition of these steel engravings are excellent with no spotting in the image area, and minimal browning around the edges. The protective tissue has been left intact as issued, but is easily removed. The plate-mark is light, but visible.

These authentic 19th century steel engravings were issued circa 1850 by A. Fullarton & Co., London & Edinburgh.  They are suitable for framing – alone, or with other prints from this series.

Each print measures approximately 9 x 6-1/2 inches overall.
