These gorgeous and detailed steel engravings are the heraldic symbols or coat-of-arms of the highland clans of old Scotland.  Each sheet has six different engravings, identified in the script below the illustration.

The engravers were either W. Macgregor or R. Scott.  The artists were either M. MacCoinish or U. MacCoinish.

 

These authentic 19th-century steel engravings were issued circa 1850 by A. Fullarton & Co., London & Edinburgh.
